Single-speed high-speed mountain bikes are simpler and lighter, reducing the possibility of mechanical failure and minimizing maintenance needs. Direct power transmission allows the rider to accelerate more efficiently, shift gears more easily, and the drivetrain is more reliable, making it ideal for fast and rough terrain.
High-strength steel offers greater durability and impact resistance, is less likely to dent or bend, and can be easily welded or brazed, allowing riders to repair damage without replacing the entire frame. In addition, it lasts longer for long-term stability. Steel frames have a natural look and can be painted or customized to create a timeless design that complements a variety of styles.
We have integrated a pedal-assist sensor (magnetic) on the crank. When the pedals start to rotate, the sensor activates the motor, functioning similarly to the throttle. This pedal-assist feature qualifies the bike as an electric bicycle under regulatory categories.
X2 pro features a dual-speed operating mode that provides versatility for different riding environments. In City Mode, riders can enjoy city commuting speeds of 28 mph, while Off-Road Mode allows speeds of up to 50 mph on trails. This adaptability maximizes efficiency and performance to meet the needs of both leisure and adventure riders.
X2 pro is equipped with a motorcycle-grade four-piston hydraulic disc brake system and 203mm rotors, providing superior stopping power and enhanced control on rough terrain. This setup provides better heat dissipation, reduces brake fade when descending hills, and ensures consistent performance in wet or muddy conditions.
We have added a newly designed hook on the motor shaft to provide enhanced protection for the motor cable, effectively preventing the motor cable from being pulled out during high-speed rotation, ensuring the service life and reliability of the motor system. It also greatly reduces the risk of the motor wheel falling off during fast riding and improves safety.

Wanted an alternative to a Sur ron that didn't hurt the bank quite as much as in my research came across the Freego X2. Saw there was a Pro version so emailed HIVE who helped me out with the differences and bit the bullet and bought. I'm sure glad I did! The Freego X2 Pro is really a fun blast and its quite light weight even with a steel frame.
The wires are all waterproof so that's good since I was concerned about snow season. I got a red but might buy a blue up later down the track (if any remain) just to have a collection! 10/10
I've had three electric bikes, and this is the best one. I love the larger size, super comfortable if you are a taller rider.
This bike is a blast! I was skeptical at first buying online but my buddy has one and the bikeshop was out of stock. I contacted HIVE and they let me know they are a reseller for Freego. Got a great deal on the bike and it came about 7 days later.

The Serial 1 Rush City Step Thru is a solid e-bike, man. It’s real smooth when you ride, and the power kicks in right when you need it. The step-thru frame makes it easy to hop on and off, which is great if you’re just runnin errands or whatever. The battery lasts pretty long too, enough for a day's ride around town. Only thing is, it’s kinda pricey, but you're gettin Harley-Davidson tech, so maybe that’s worth it. Overall it’s good for cruisin, especially if you want something simple and reliable.
